One thing that we do know is that due to certain aspects of the venue, we won't be able to accommodate young children. Reach out to us if you are uncertain if this applies in your case.

We have good news and bad news. The good news is that we will have a tarot card reader in attendance to perform private readings for our guests! The bad news is that as a professional who takes their work seriously, it is unlikely that she will be able to get to all parties interested.

If anyone in your party is interested in a tarot reading, please indicate as much in the RSVP form. On the day of the wedding, we will draw names out of a hat to make list and try to get through as many people as we can.

Formal attire, please. Let's get snazzy, people! We were tempted to say "black tie," but recognize that it would be a stretch for a lot of folks, and to be completely honest we don't actually know what that means. But try to bring as much class as you can muster. Got a tux? Wear it! That evening gown that always seemed too dressy for a typically dressed-down Seattle affair? Now's your chance!

The venue is centrally located in Lower Queen Anne; a mere block north of Seattle Center. For out-of-towners, it ought to be a pretty great place from which to explore the city.

There being half a dozen decently-sized hotels within a 10-minute walk of The Ruins, we are not currently planning to make any special arrangements for lodging. That being said, The Maxwell Hotel seems like a great place!

We are delighted just to have you celebrate with us, and your presence is a gift in itself. If you feel compelled to give something, we would prefer donations in lieu of physical gifts.

We've been living together long enough that we have most of the stuff that ends up in a typical wedding registry already. Rather than having to imagine all of you fighting over who gets to buy us a waffle iron, we would love it if you could contribute toward our honeymoon.

We haven't decided where to yet, but will probably be headed to Brazil or France!
